Food For Thought

Hi.

I finally got to dine at the lovely Food For Thought at Queens Street, and I had a pleasure to do so with these two lovely ladies. It's been a year since I've seen Sara Grace, and it feels like it has been a year since I've seen Shannen.

I ordered a Full Works platter, and it was absolutely drool worthy. Every simple, yet absolutely amazing thing in one serving. Oh. My. Gosh. The mere thought of a plateful of all those goodies make me want to raid my already dry savings and rush off to Bras Basah for a meal. I don't think anyone could understand what a real breakfast is 'til they have a plate with hash browns, tomatoes, sausages, mushrooms, bacon, scrambled eggs, and some sort of toasted bread.

Sara Grace had the Basil Almond Pesto Chicken Linguine and Shannen had the Crispy Curry-spiced Chicken & Spicy Chili Fries. Those were really good as well. Everything in Food For Thought is really good. I'd come here all the time if it was only more affordable.

After our brunch, we cabbed down to Vivo City to try to catch Alex at work. She totally freaked out when she saw Sara Grace and practically jumped over the counter! It was hilarious! We ended up getting ice cream at Ben & Jerry's and was able to get a bigger scoop at a discounted price! Plus we got to hang out with Alex for a bit after her shift to catch up and talk.

It was a lovely day.
