I don't know if people know this about me, but I love the idea of zombies.

Zombies are scientifically possible, though, I'd like to believe, highly improbable. Because of numerous parasites, viruses, and nanobots, they are very plausible. I've yet to decide if it's a good thing or not.

I love the idea of a zombie apocalypse and I have no idea why. I know it won't exactly be a good thing if it happened, but there's just something about it that I love, and I can't figure out what. My only motivation for fitness is training for the zombie apocalypse. I can't resist watching zombie movies, and playing zombie games, and reading things about zombies. It's interesting.

At the moment, I am waiting for an app for the iPhone called Zombies, Run! to come out. It's a fitness-game where you are Runner #5 and you are running away from a hoard of zombies. I'm also currently watching the Zombie Cheerleader episode of Misfits and am very much enjoying it, not to mention that I'm lusting over Max Brook's book, The Zombie Survival Guide.

If I had to pick the kind of person that I will be in the zombie apocalypse, I will be a zombie. It's sad to say this, but honestly, I'd be one of the first to go. Rule number one, Cardio. Something I am horrible at, so I'd die first. If I do survive however, I'd be Mia from Zombicorns by John Green. I'd have enough of a heart to take care of my undead family and a pet, but heartless enough to mindlessly blow up a horde, steal supplies from supermarkets and hijack a ferrari. I'd have a baseball bat or a hammer as a melee weapon, because they're relatively light and easy to carry. A katana is better, but it's harder to find and control, and I probably would slice my own hand off first. If the number of ammo didn't matter, I'd have a submachine gun or an AK-47. I don't believe in this one-shot headshot double-barrel shotgun bullshit, because my accuracy is not the best, and spamming shots just feels good (I assume).

I just finished watching the ASBO5 kill zombie cheerleaders and I mentally jizzed all over the place. And I thought Misfits couldn't get any better.

Not too shabby, yeah? I think this is the first holiday that I'm actually making full use of! I mean, I love sleeping and being a vegetable and everything, but I don't mind doing all these other things too. HOW EXCITING.

I hope your holidays are all going great too!

Lavender

Hello, people.

I went to Bukit Batok with my brother to film a scene for my short film. It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but it was interesting and fun. It started raining really heavily in the middle of a shot and filming had to be cut short. It was okay, but I think it could've been better. My brother's sweet.

My holiday's been pretty interesting. Filming has been pretty good. Weather hasn't. Misfits & Community have been hilarious. Sleep hasn't been enough. Week is busy. Job is needed. Life is okay.

Goodnight.

I feel very odd today.

I'm not sure how to describe how I feel. I feel nostalgic, but not for anything. I feel a sense of longing, and sadness, but there isn't anything in particular that I'm longing for at the moment. I don't know if it's from me being cooped up in my room all day, or from listening to Iwan Rheon's songs. I don't know. I just feel odd. I don't think I've ever really felt like this before.

I did a couple of test shots with my Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens reversed to achieve macro shots, and I think it turned out pretty well. Just random things I found in my room. The music in the background is Follow Me by Iwan Rheon by the way. It's not for everyone, but I like it. I like him.

I went out with Trudy today to get my 50mm f/1.8 II lens. It was a really good day!

We had a lovely lunch at Swensen's. Trudy had a Salmon N' Mushroom pasta, and I had a Chili Crab pasta. It was delish. We then roamed the streets of Clarke Quay in search of the store that sold my beloved 50mm lens. The guy at the shop was incredibly nice, and Trudy gave him a bar of chocolates. Everyone around me were incredibly nice today. I just wanted to hug people.

We somehow ended up having a photoshoot of some sort around Clarke Quay. I am very happy with my lens.

Overall, it was a good day. A very good day indeed.

Happy Valentines Day.

I had dinner at Timbre @ Arts House with these lovely ladies last night. It was nice. Good food, good music, good night with good company.

We ordered two half-and-half pizzas. Roasted duck and Spicy Cajun chicken on one, and smoken salmon and sunny side-up on the other. We also got a plate of very tasty buffalo wings and calamari rings. It was a good night out.

It's been awhile since I went out at a good place with good company.

All the photos were taken on Kuan Hui's camera.
